+ How much does a video typically cost?

It’s the million dollar question. Don’t worry, it doesn’t really cost that much. The answer is, it really depends on your goals, and what you want to accomplish. For example, an educational video about a process is completely different from a promotional video that is designed to raise awareness, or an explainer video that is supposed to generate leads. That is why we provide a custom quote for each project.

But what’s a super rough ballpark range? For basic projects, we often recommend budgets between $5k and $10k, and for more custom projects we often recommend budgets between $10k and $15k, depending on length, style, and complexity. Projects that need to be really high-impact or that require special techniques like lots of 3D may require higher budgets. The best way to get a specific answer is to request a quote.

+ How long does the production process take?

This entire process typically takes about 6 weeks if your team is able to provide quick feedback at each step. Why does it take so long? In order to craft your message into a compelling video, our team follows a creative process that includes researching, messaging, visual development, and production. Along the way, you will have several opportunities to provide direction and input to ensure the final results aligns with your marketing goals and vision. Basically, we take the time to do things right.

+ How long should my video be?

It depends on the type of video, where it sits in your marketing funnel, and what channel it is designed for. As a general rule, most promotional videos should stay between 30 and 60 seconds, while explainer videos should land between 90 and 120 seconds. In general, shorter videos are simply more effective. Viewers are more likely to watch them all the way through without clicking away. Also, shorter run-times require weeding out unnecessary details, which leads to a more focused presentation.

+ How do I know the final video will align with my vision?

Ultimately, our primary goal is to make you thrilled with the final results. That is why we spend a significant amount of time planning rough concepts and creating mockups before actually producing the final video. Our team follows a clearly defined process to create each project one step at a time so there are no surprises. Along the way, you will be able to provide feedback and request revisions before things progress to the next stage.
